The Supply Chain Administrator is responsible for assisting the Strategic Sourcing Manager with a variety of customer service, sourcing, and supplier management strategies related to meeting objectives in cost, quality and service levels. They will be responsible for defining and maintaining reporting of the various Corporate Social responsibility initiatives as well as respond to all Customer/Corporate requests for needs within Supply Chain and helping maintain Minority Spend for AFL.

Responsibilities:

Mobile Device Management

  • Manage and assist all AFL employee requests for new mobile phones, upgrades, exchanges, device set up, and any mobile device issues in accordance with the AFL mobile device policy.
  • Monitor and maintain all requests through AFL’s internal Service Now system
  • Monitor mobile device usage continuously to identify potential outliers and recommend opportunities for improvement; coordinate communication with service providers to ensure optimal overall AFL account setup
  • Other duties as assigned by the Strategic Sourcing Manager

Printer Fleet Management

  • Printer device management : Ensure printer fleet inventory accuracy.
  • Quarterly checks/ walk through of plants for fleet.
  • Review monthly fleet reporting: utilization metrics, printer meter reads, and devices that are not reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain all requests through AFL’s internal Service Now system.

Supplier Onboarding

  • Assist AFL functional departments in the coordination of suppliers’ onboarding
  • Communicate with potential AFL suppliers to ensure proper documentation is provided in compliance with AFL policy for setup
  • Assist with supplier onboarding mapping and process automation

Cross functional Department Assistance

  • Assist AFL functional departments with account setup to various suppliers selected by AFL Corporate Procurement for general use – e.g. office supplies, printer cartridges, etc.
  • Assist AFL functional departments with requisitions template setup
  • Place requisitions and monitor requisition progress on behalf of AFL user departments providing feedback on development to user departments until PO receipt

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Promote Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Work with the Commercial Teams to respond to customer requests for CSR data and MWDVBE spend participation as needed.
  • Assist with MWDVBE mapping and process automation as needed
  • Coordinate events for AFL suppliers promoting MWDVBE participation and spend on first and second tier levels
  • Other Duties as assigned by Strategic Sourcing Manager

  • Compelling and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze relevant metrics
  • Works well under pressure/stress
  • High attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with MS Office Products; Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint specifically.
  • Prior office related experience in Supply Chain or Customer Service functions is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work indoors under climate controlled conditions. Employee may on occasion be required to work overtime.

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
