Job Description

About the Role

The primary purpose of the Supply Base Coordinator is to coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers performing the function of Materials and Logistics tasks within the Perth Supply Base.

This includes overview of Cargo and Materials, Container Management, Chain of Responsibility assurance. Targeting industry best practice every time for safe and efficient cargo movement in the supply chain for Qube Energy and our Clients.

Roster: 5 days on / 2 days off

Location: Perth Supply Base, Hazelmere

Specific Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers to deliver safe and efficient operations as directed by Qube management
  • Manage overall flow of traffic within the PSB
  • Manage flow of communication via the UHF radio system. Radio network owner
  • Ensure all 3rd party movements within the facility adhere to PSB TMP
  • Ensure load restraint of cargo into containers complies fully with the National Transport Commission Load Restraint Guide.
  • Ensure equipment is in serviceable condition and report defects immediately
  • Manage and contribute to external service provider scopes of work being executed within the PSB
  • Ensure safety compliance is at a high standard within the logistics space of PSB. This includes equipment operation to comply with OEM specifications for MHE.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on material picking, packing and cargo + container management
  • Provide development and training opportunities to the PSB team
  • Encourage Warehouse Officers to take ownership and control end to end process
  • Receive and coordinate material requests and points of enquiry from stakeholders
  • Establish documentation filing process and coordinate team to ensure compliance
  • Take an active role in supporting material management and transactions within the PSB
  • Proactively communicate within the supply chain stakeholders to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure quarantine compliance, dangerous goods storage, handling and transportation is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Ensure Quarantine Management Plan for PSB is integrated and specific quarantine activities performed to the required standard prior to asset dispatch for shipping
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports
  • Contribute to development, implementation and accuracy of all procedures and policies
  • Monitor, report, and rectify all inbound / outbound CoR non-conformance events to ensure safe movement of material in the supply chain and industry best practice of load restraint is integrated and observed within the operation
  • Provide coverage for other Coordinators when required

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ Years’ experience in a similar role
  • Specialised systems knowledge
  • Computer literate and experienced in MS Office Suite
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Car)
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislative requirements
  • Understanding of Load Restraint Training
  • Dangerous Goods Awareness and qualified in in transport of DG by Road, Air & Sea
  • Experience in JDE is highly regarded, as well as knowledge of other inventory management systems
