As a Supply and Distribution Planning Intern at LVMH Fragrance and Cosmetic, you will have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience within one of the world’s most prestigious cosmetic companies. Based in our regional headquarters in Singapore, you will support our supply and distribution planners in managing and optimizing operations across the APAC region. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily planning activities to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes. Additionally, depending on your initiative and adaptability, you may be entrusted with ad hoc projects that will allow you to further develop your skills and showcase your creativity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Weekly deployment plan to Markets:

  • Assist in generating and managing weekly distribution plans for APAC markets, ensuring alignment with market demands, stock levels, and product availability.

  • Utilize the new Anaplan tool as the primary platform for planning and monitoring distribution activities.

  • Support supply chain processes using SAP as required to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

  1. Follow our exceptional pieces replenishment (PEX):

  • Monitor and manage the replenishment of exceptional pieces across APAC markets.

  • Ensure inventory deployment aligns with market demand and logistics requirements.

  • Provide visibility on product availability by channel, in line with short and medium-term business priorities.

  • Identify and report potential shortages or excess stock risks, and proactively propose solutions or recommendations to management for effective arbitration.

  1. Data Crunching:

  • Leverage data analysis tools and software such as Power Query or Power BI to process and analyse large datasets.

  • Identify trends and patterns to support informed supply and demand planning decisions across APAC markets.

  1. Communication and Coordination:

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment with business objectives such as service levels and inventory management.

  1. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within supply and distribution planning operations and recommend actionable solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  1. Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Depending on your demonstrated progress and ability to learn, take the initiative to lead or participate in special projects related to supply and demand planning, offering opportunities for professional growth through challenging and rewarding assignments.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Anaplan and SAP are a plus.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
