Position Highlights

Our Strategic Sourcing department is currently seeking a Supply Analyst II with awesome customer service skills and masterful multi-tasking abilities to join our fast paced and evolving team at the Burnaby Metrotown Office location.


Working in a collaborative team environment, this position may interact with all ICBC departments at various levels and is primarily responsible for the governance of the corporate acquisition policy as it relates to SAP contracts and purchase orders, Northstar requests and public procurement/bidding processes.


The ideal applicant must have:

  • An understanding of and familiarity with relevant corporate policies and procedures, such as Corporate Acquisition Policy, Privacy, Corporate Law, Competition Law Policy;
  • Experience using or knowledge of relevant systems, such as SAP purchasing modules, SRM, Shopping Carts, Northstar;
  • An understanding of ERP contract and PO workflows for various customer departments, such as ISD, Facilities, Professional Services, Finance;
  • Advanced proficiency using standard Microsoft Office software programs, such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.;
  • Highly proficient customer service skills and multi-tasking abilities;
  • Advanced business writing and communication (both written and verbal) skills;
  • The ability to adapt quickly to various technical and/or procedural changes; and
  • Experience obtaining and analyzing vendor quotes.

Additional skills, experience and knowledge the ideal applicant should have are:

  • An understanding of current applicable trade agreements that affect ICBC;
  • An understanding of or experience with small to medium scale procurement processes, such as conducting solicitations, evaluations, contract negotiations, contract management, vendor management.

This position reports to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing Services.

Work arrangement defined:

  • Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
