About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and working under the direction of the Charge Nurse, the Supply Aide orders supplies to maintain flow and daily operation of the Operating Room (OR). Review daily OR list allowing for any supplies for emergency cases over the weekend. Receive, sign for packages ensuring packages are correctly addressed and contain proper material ordered. Put supplies in proper storage areas of the OR. The Supply Aide will also pick surgical cases for four operating rooms based on specific requirements for individual physicians and ensures the changeover of four operating rooms after each surgery.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII or equivalent required
  • Current certification in WHIMIS
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Knowledge of SAP for ordering
  • Previous experience working in OR environment is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move patients using proper body mechanics and/or lifting devices
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Must have highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

  • Permanent full-time positions; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Benefits

$23.07 - $25.16 Hourly
