Skills :
• Evaluate supplier capabilities in terms of : Technology readiness level (TRL), Manufacturing maturity, Scalability and long-term
viability
• Identify: Technology gaps, Single-source risks, Dependency risks
• Act as the primary technical interface for strategic suppliers
• Lead Technical Roadmap Meetings (TRMs) to align : Supplier development plans, Milestones, Product requirements
• Drive joint development programs from concept to qualification phase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engineering, Quality & Reliability ,Operations & Manufacturing
• Ensure supplier solutions meet requirements for : Performance, Reliability, Manufacturability & Cost
• Conduct deep technical assessments of supplier products and processes.
• Validate: Design robustness, Quality systems, Process controls
• Analyze risks related to: Yield, Reliability, Scaling to volume production
• Drive corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Sourcing teams to evaluate: Cost competitiveness, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Supplier
capacity and scalability
• Assess supplier readiness for : Volume ramp, Stable yield, Long-term supply assurance
• Provide technical inputs for: Make vs Buy decisions, Supplier selection & Strategic sourcing
• Support development of : Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Define and protect Intellectual Property (IP), Strategic
investments
• Translate complex technical topics into clear inputs for: Business decisions, Executive reviews
• Influence stakeholders across: Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management
Experience:
• Bachelor’s /Master's in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering/Materials Science Engineering or Related field
•10–15 years of experience in Semiconductor Equipment domain, advanced manufacturing, supplier development, and/or
technology engineering; project management experience or relevant industry certifications preferred.
• Experience working with : Global Suppliers, Cross-functional teams, New product development (NPI)
• Proficiency working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
