We are currently seeking a Supplier Scheduler – NPI to support new product launches and ensure supply readiness across our supplier base.

What will you do?

The Supplier Scheduler – NPI is responsible for ensuring material availability and supplier readiness to support successful new product introductions (NPI). This role acts as a key interface between Procurement, Engineering, Planning, and Suppliers, driving execution of sourcing strategies, supplier ramp-up, and on-time material delivery for new launches.

The role will focus on supplier scheduling, capacity alignment, risk mitigation, and material flow management during product launches while ensuring compliance with category strategies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

NPI Supplier Readiness & Launch Execution

  • Lead supplier readiness activities for NPI projects, ensuring capacity, tooling, and timelines are aligned with launch milestones.

  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness (Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Planning).

  • Track and manage critical path items for new product introduction to meet SOP (Start of Production).

Supplier Scheduling & Material Planning

  • Develop and execute supplier schedules based on NPI demand forecasts and ramp-up plans.

  • Communicate material requirements and delivery expectations to suppliers.

  • Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate engineering changes, demand variability, and project timelines.

Supplier Performance & Risk Management

  • Monitor supplier performance (OTD, lead time adherence, responsiveness) during NPI phase.

  • Identify supply risks (capacity, logistics, quality, single-source) and implement mitigation plans.

  • Escalate critical shortages or delays impacting launch timelines.

Inventory & Working Capital Management

  • Manage inventory levels for prototype, pilot, and ramp-up phases.

  • Balance material availability with excess/obsolete risk during engineering changes.

  • Support lifecycle transitions from NPI to mass production.

Systems & Data Management

  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP related to NPI projects.

  • Maintain accurate supplier schedules, demand signals, and delivery confirmations in ERP systems.

  • Track and report KPIs related to NPI supply performance.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular status updates to LOB Procurement Leaders and Program Managers.

  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for supplier scheduling issues during NPI.

How will you do it?

  • Manage purchasing requisitions and supplier schedules by project.

  • Drive supplier communication and follow-up to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.

  • Support cost tracking and cost reduction initiatives during NPI.

  • Report progress, risks, and KPIs to procurement leadership.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • +1 years of experience in procurement, scheduling, or supply chain (preferred in NPI)

  • Knowledge of SAP/MRP systems

  • Experience in supplier scheduling, material planning, and launch support

  • Supplier management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments with tight deadlines.

  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
