Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid, with UK-wide supplier visits)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: £45,000 per annum + Performance Bonus + Equity

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven Supplier Relations Manager to build, manage, and scale our supplier network from the ground up.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding compliant suppliers, maintaining quality standards, and developing long-term partnerships that directly influence marketplace performance and growth.

This is a high-impact position with significant ownership, visibility, and influence over Zenrox's supplier ecosystem and overall marketplace success.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard MHRA-compliant medical equipment suppliers across multiple product categories

  • Conduct full supplier verification including MHRA registration checks, insurance validation, and compliance documentation review

  • Ensure only qualified and compliant suppliers are activated on the platform

Commercial Negotiation & Partnerships

  • Negotiate commission structures, partnership agreements, and preferred supplier arrangements

  • Build long-term strategic relationships with high-value suppliers

  • Secure favourable commercial terms that enhance platform competitiveness

Supplier Performance Management

  • Define and implement supplier KPIs, performance standards, and monitoring systems

  • Track supplier performance across response times, fulfilment rates, and service quality

  • Analyse supplier data and provide structured feedback and improvement plans

Relationship Management & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier relationships

  • Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth collaboration between suppliers and internal teams

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier experience

Operational Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Operations team to improve quote turnaround times and order fulfilment accuracy

  • Support process optimisation across supplier workflows and marketplace operations

Training & Enablement

  • Develop onboarding guides, training materials, and supplier support resources

  • Ensure suppliers understand platform standards, expectations, and compliance requirements

Strategic Insights & Reporting

  • Gather and present supplier feedback to Product, Operations, and Leadership teams

  • Use data-driven insights to improve supplier strategy and marketplace efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor relations

  • Strong understanding of medical equipment supply chains and MHRA regulatory requirements

  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing strong commercial agreements

  • Experience managing supplier relationships across multiple categories or regions

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in supplier performance tracking

  • Familiarity with marketplace, multi-vendor, or B2B platform environments

  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

  • Experience in medical equipment distribution, healthcare supply chain, or pharmaceutical wholesale

  • Familiarity with NHS Supply Chain or private healthcare procurement systems

  • Background in marketplace supplier operations (e.g., Amazon, eBay, B2B platforms)

  • Knowledge of MHRA/UKCA compliance frameworks

  • Experience in supplier audits, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance

  • Exposure to SaaS or vendor management platforms
