Could you be the full-time Supplier Quality Serial Life Engineer in Bucharest we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supplier quality expertise in a cutting-edge and fast-paced field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier quality performance throughout the project lifecycle, driving improvements and fostering strong supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Core Teams, Procurement, and Field Quality), manage supplier non-conformities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring the maturity of supplier parts and processes in alignment with project milestones, but also support non-conformity management and corrective action plans.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Participating in the creation and updates of the Supplier Part List (SPL) and ensuring its alignment with project requirements
  • Driving supplier quality activities, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and gate reviews, to meet quality and timeline expectations
  • Managing supplier non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution and implementing containment actions
  • Coordinating corrective and preventive action plans with suppliers and internal teams
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by analyzing trends and implementing supplier improvement roadmaps
  • Supporting customer reviews, project REX (Return of Experience), and compliance with railway safety requirements
  • Overseeing inspection activities (e.g., FAI/FAT) and ensuring supplier deliverables align with project needs

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of supplier quality management in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC)
  • Familiarity with project management principles and processes
  • A certification in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) would be advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialized expertise in supplier quality
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
