Ensure defined quality levels for purchased materials, OEM-in products and service provider, incl. qualification, development, integration, monitoring and auditing suppliers
Ensure supplier quality readiness in an early stage within the development process
Support product design and development process with respect to specification, risk management, validation and control of supplier related aspects
Support Selection, evaluate and qualify material/product and service providers to ensure stable operation processes
Drive continuous improvement through utilization of quality methods
Ensure and further develop compliance of the related technology center regarding ISO 9001, 13485
Define, implement and disseminate the quality technical tools, processes and systems to support appropriate execution of the QM system
Define and monitor deployment of engineering and material specifications including material risk failure assessment in close collaboration with R&D to the supplier
Subject matter expert for specific material components regarding "Material Compliance" in the interpretation of the legal requirement and compliance by the supplier.
Ensure quality assurance agreements
Assist with supplier selection process including evaluation and development in close collaboration with procurement department
Plan, coordinate and conduct supplier audits to qualify and assess supplier's quality and manufacturing capabilities to support the supplier qualification process, surveillance program and supplier development program
Define inspection criteria and test procedure based on developments specification and supplier development agreements with adjustments with Operation
Drive supplier actions to verify part and process quality to reduce the need for incoming inspection activities
Review supplier complaints for systematic issues
Develop, execute and analyze supplier quality KPIs to report on quality issues, trends and losses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, technical construction, or technical procurement.
Extensive experience in quality management, particularly with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
Proven track record in quality by design within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Several years of experience in process optimization, focusing on enhancing manufacturing and supplier processes.
Strong technical understanding, ideally in electronics, polymers, or mechanical processing.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP for effective data management and communication.
Ability to define and implement quality technical tools, processes, and systems.
Business fluency in English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills to develop, execute, and analyze supplier quality KPIs.
Ability to drive continuous improvement through utilization of quality methods and supplier development programs.
Expertise in risk management, validation, and control of supplier-related aspects in product design and development processes.
