The opportunity:
Responsible for providing supplier quality management services to clients. Conducts supplier audits, assessment and evaluation to ensure conformance to client’s quality, cost and delivery performance standards. Establishes performance metrics or supplier scorecard to measure supplier performance. Assesses and monitors supplier’s products and performance to ensure compliance with pre-established standards and specifications. Identifies areas for improvements within the supply chain and works closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement. Resolves poor supplier quality issues and provides appropriate support for desired supplier capability. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How you’ll make an impact
Execute supplier qualification and certification, and continuously monitor supplier performance through assessments, supplier audits, escape management, supplier performance management and non-conformity resolution.
Ensure that suppliers are capable of meeting all requirements for work transfer and process change management including FAI, Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
Prepare product and module level quality requirements and co-ordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to build confidence that requirements will be achieved.
Review, track and monitor component / module development and qualification plan through APQP, including manufacturing and validation planning (equipment, tooling, inspection fixtures, packaging, process documents etc), resource planning, certification and calibration of all new tools, fixtures, gauges and testers.
Monitor and control the Suppliers’ resolution of non-conformities, i.e. containment, correction, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
Coach suppliers in non-conformity resolution if needed.
Coordinate and maintain key relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as Engineering, Procurement and support organizations.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Required BE / B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical is mandatory
