We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern to help us shape the future. Based in Milan within the Costing and Materials area of the Transmission Business Unit, and reporting directly to the Supplier Quality Manager, the candidate will support the following activities:
Review information reported in Certificates of Analysis provided by raw material suppliers.
Help ensure that supplier raw material specifications and related quality requirements are reviewed and kept up to date.
Follow up on raw material qualification activities and related progress.
Contribute to the follow-up of supplier quality issues related to materials.
Assist with material risk assessments and the follow-up of related action plans.
Help monitor supplier quality KPIs and performance trends.
Participate in periodic reviews with plant Quality Managers on supplier quality topics.
Prepare and follow up on supplier audit reports under guidance.
Collect and review supplier process documentation, such as process flow charts and control plans

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern with the following skills and qualifications:
Recent graduate, preferably within the last two years, in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or another technical field.
Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and truly interested in Quality and learning about Supplier production processes and controls.
Strong teamwork skills.
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in the MS Office package.
NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience in an industrial organization.
Knowledge of statistical quality control and ISO 9001.
