• Verify product compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications and applicable regulations prior to shipment release.
• Schedule and coordinate inspection activities in alignment with supplier production plan and project milestones.
Valve & Special Processes Technical Oversight
• Review and verify manufacturing documentation: MTRs (EN 10204 3.1-3.2), WPS, WPQR, NDT reports, dimensional reports.
• Monitor and assess special processes: foundry (casting), forging, heat treatment — verify compliance with approved procedures, material properties and acceptance criteria.
• Witness and validate hydrostatic/pneumatic pressure tests, seat leakage tests, functional/torque tests and fugitive emission tests.
• Verify compliance with valve standards: API 600, API 602, API 6D, ASME B16.34, EN 12516, PED 2014/68/EU.
• Verify material traceability from raw material through to final product marking.
NDT Oversight
• Witness and evaluate NDT activities: UT, RT, PT, MT, VT.
• Review NDT procedures for compliance with applicable codes and client specifications.
• Interpret NDT reports and assess acceptance/rejection of indications.
• Ensure NDT personnel qualifications are valid and compliant.
Non-Conformance & Deviation Management

• Maintain inspection records and ensure complete documentation packages prior to shipment.
• Provide regular feedback on supplier performance and manufacturing risks.
