Supplier Quality Inspector

More than a job: a mission

We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Inspector to ensure high quality of components for our locomotives. This is a high stakes role, securing critical infrastructure for Kazakhstan. You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication — because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.

Your role, your impact

  • Responsible for daily Non-Conformity management, insuring reactivity to inform supplier of Non-Conformity Report (NCR), to replace defective parts and to implement securization.
  • Animate Non-Conformities Report treatment by setting-up relevant actions plan to reach Non Conformity Report (NCR) target.
  • Invoice the Cost of Non Quality to the suppliers and organize the retrofit to be performed by the supplier.
  • Challenge our suppliers to enforce relevant corrective and preventive action plan, challenge reactivity.
  • Audit supplier process to check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan and ensure control plan sustainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers).
  • For ‘trusted’ suppliers: be part of the Return Of experience (REX) analysis.

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring

  • University degree - Technical or Quality
  • Knowledge in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Railroad etc.)
  • Fluent in English
  • Skills in applying quality methodology, including 5Y, 8D, root-cause analysis et al.
  • Collaborative
  • Persuasive and resilient

  • Quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Relevance of technical recommendations.
  • Contribution to peer reviews and teamwork.
