Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Enginner JV.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do

1. PRIMARY FUNCTION: State the primary function or overall purpose of your position.
2. Review response and implemented improvements after a quality issue on components was reported to external or internal supplier. Ask for evidence of preventive / Corrective actions implemented by suppliers.
3. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements) List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
4. Problem solving based in 8D
5. Production line support and focus supplier activities (ensuring frequent follow up meetings, perfomance monitoring and corrective action follow up with key and low performing suppliers)
6. Communicate quality issues to suppliers and sister plants
7. Review supplier response to DMR in Wisper system, including process escalation for Hi-Impact DMR.
8. Ask for disposition of non-conforming material to supplier after concluded sorting
9. Prepare reports on parts- supplier performance. Update on time the quality metrics
10. Scrap and Non-conforming material control and apply charge back to supplier due to scrap on quality issues.
11. Responsible for Focus Supplier process.
12. Follow up ZMPD/LMPD for quality issues related to external suppliers.
13. PPAP Process follow up. SCR Meeting, PPAP RL, PSW Approval"
14. Coordinate the work with the Supplier Quality Analyst (SQA) working in the area.
15. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
16. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
17. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE. Describe any specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which your position requires.

1. Completed bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, mechatronig engineering or related fields required
2. 2 - 3 years of experience in similar area.
3. Yellow Belt Certification.
4. Intermediate - Advanced English proficinency with strong verbal communication skills (comfortable leading meetings with international suppliers, presentig results and manging projects in English)
5. IATF 16949/ISO 9001 criteria, EQMS
6. Problem solving methodology (8Ds)
7. MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF and SPC
8. All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how.
9. GD & T Intermediate

Skills

QUALITY FUNTIONAL COMPETENCES

1. Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods. Knows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical / statistical techniques, including 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition; basic data collection.
2. Inspection & Testing. Consistent knowledge and use of tools and techniques for measuring systems and devices utilized across a broad range of applications.

Has the ability to perform basic analysis and reporting of inspection and test records.

1. External Requirements. Has a basic knowledge and understanding of National and International Standards (e.g. IATF / AS / ISO) and where applicable other Industry related standards including specific customer requirements.
