Job Description

1.Supplier qualification and enabling, selection of suppliers for Q-programs (VDA6.3 P1 and OPL closed), and Q related release of new suppliers

2.Participation in supplier selection, Q related release during Pre-/Global Sourcing Meeting

3.Technical support of Chinese suppliers for domestic and overseas plants of DC (incl. trade goods)

4.Define material group specific Q requirements and check lists (eg.LL,EM,TSR MF-benchmark level)

5.Planning, execution, and follow-up of supplier audits for supplier/process release (GPc16)

6.Auditing and release of processes, preparation and implementation of annual audit planning (VDA6.3)

7.Planning and performing supplier development activities for existing suppliers in collaboration with material group purchasing and pursuing effectiveness (e.g. Q-method and 14Q trainings, coaching, process related, capability studies)

8.Monitoring of supplier performance

9.Support of Focus Supplier Program and Supplier Quality Days

10.Collaboration in SQP in PUE managed projects according to SQM-processes, support in the supplier development of technical solutions (support of IC def., Lessons Learned, SQP, TSR, GPc16, Safe-Launch measures, other GPc’s, QB-I…)

11.Support and monitoring of supplier change management

12.Support/monitoring of preventive CSL and quality gates as well as containment activities at suppliers

13.Technical/methodical support in claim management after escalation cascade against CN suppliers, Problem solving and trouble-shooting to find fast solutions

14.Tight cooperation with PUR/PUE and local plant colleagues, overseas PUx colleagues, value stream respectively MF based

Qualifications

Knowledge:

1.Quality standards and inspection techiniques

2.Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering, quality management or related fields.

Skills:

1.Quality management:Have a strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools such as Six Sigma, VDA6.3,Lean, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) ,FMEA, 8D ,, etc.,. Be able to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.

2.Familiar with the production process and quality control methods of mechanical or electrical magnet other products.

3.Supplier management:Supplier audit and assessment

4.Problem solving skill:Have strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions. Be able to use tools such as root cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and 5 Whys to drive problem resolution

5.Analytical Skills: Be proficient in data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in supplier quality performance. Be able to use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6.Have good communication, coordination skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to communicate and cooperate effectively with suppliers and internal departments of the company.

7.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Have a continuous improvement mindset and be committed to driving ongoing improvement in supplier quality performance. Be open to feedback, willing to learn, and proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement.

8.Have a strong sense of responsibility and stress - resistance and be able to adapt to business trips and overtime.
