Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance.
  • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and qualification for automation components (mechanical parts, electrical parts, modules).
  • Develop and implement supplier quality control procedures and improvement plans.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers.
  • Support automation machine build and assembly, ensuring supplier parts meet system requirements.
  • Work with engineering teams on new product introduction (NPI) and supplier readiness.
  • Participate in process validation, PPAP, and first article inspection (FAI) for critical components.

Job Requirement

  • At least 3–5 years of experience as an SQE, with familiarity in supplier component development and mass production quality management
  • Familiarity with the five major quality tools
  • Familiarity with injection molding, die casting, machining, and stamping processes
  • Proficiency in conducting VDA 6.3 audits (possession of a VDA QMC auditor certification is a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Interpersonal communication skills; conflict management; ability to work under pressure
