Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality monitoring systems to ensure materials and components meet quality standards. Identify and address any non-conformance issues with suppliers.

• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize their processes, enhancing yield and ensuring consistent quality of materials and parts.

• Lead efforts to address and resolve abnormal quality issues with suppliers, implementing corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems, process capabilities, and compliance with industry standards. Drive improvement initiatives based on audit findings.

• Work with suppliers to develop their quality processes, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer expectations.

• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on quality expectations from suppliers.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by working closely with suppliers to enhance their quality management systems and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above.

• Proven experience in supplier quality engineering, particularly in a manufacturing or electronics environment.

• Strong knowledge of supplier quality management systems and standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

• Familiarity with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.

• Certification in Six Sigma or similar is a plus.

• Willingness to travel extensively and work abroad in China or Vietnam at least 10 months per year.
