Support current product quality management activities. Assure proper nonconformity containment tools application and irreversible corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity. Grant extensive and deep usage of problem-solving techniques at suppliers (8D, RED-X and 6 Sigma.) Verify capability studies to assure process stability and accuracy (e.g., Cp, CPk). For Advance Quality review and approve PPAP (Initial Sample inspection report / Part Approval Process). Implement and support global Supplier Quality guidelines. Evaluate new suppliers or new supplier processes with major focus on quality and capability. Provide on-site launch support at suppliers' facilities to ensure launch readiness as required. Ensure component suppliers' processes are robust and capable. Work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure proper designs, suppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected. Audit the process with regards to emerging problems or production transfers. Lead problem solving activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing, as well as supplier organizations. Responsible for the top problem resolution with external suppliers, yard hold activities, and supplier improvement processes using Kaizen activity, 8D management systems and 8 Stages of Incoming Material for current issues. Speed to containment, root cause, and corrective action. Monitor quality objectives and provide relevant reports and feedback to management.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls & Automation, Chemical Engineering.
5 years of experience as SQE or related jobs
Knowledge in Core Tools (Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc).
Knowledge of Stellantis audits and Quality Processes (MPA, NSA, CAT, Capacity analysis, etc)
Familiar with PPAP approval, Stellantis supplier KPIs and Continuous Improvement processes.
Lean Manufacturing knowledge desirable. Knowledge of Chassis component is a plus.
Excellent leadership and English Proficient (written/spoken).
