Job Description

Major Responsibilities:
- Apply common supplier quality & development process/tools and systems (eg. Supplier Performance Development Process (SPDP), Aptiv Problem Solver, Scorecard) to drive timely and effective resolution of supplier issues (including cost recoveries) and facilitate continuous improvement;
- Support Flawless Launch activities within the plant and manage AQE-to-SQE part responsibility transition;
- Function as liaison between supply management, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues and provide technical support;
- Adhere to PR/R Procedure issuance, completion guidelines and requirements for Problem Cases issued via Problem Solver;
- Utilize structured problem solving tools and methodologies;
- Focus on exceed customer satisfaction and try to meet zero major disruption objective (spill, shortage, CI, RP etc.) through excellence;
- Participate in all applicable plant teams (e.g. Change Boards, Continuous Improvement);
- Perform supplier manufacturing capability assessments as appropriate and develop action plan to close gaps;
- Support the supplier change management process;
- Implement APTIV Global SCM policies & procedures.

Major Qualifications:
- University graduate or above in science and engineering background;
- At least 3 years experiences in supplier quality management;
- Proficiency in oral, reading and written English;
- Strong sense of responsibility and communication skill and willing to study and work under pressure;
- Able to travel as required;
- Prefer to have VDA6.3 and IATF16949 certification.
