Supplier Quality Engineer
•Ensure compliance with quality requirements for the approval of component processes used in the assembly of our products. Provide support to production cells (AMTs) for issues related to a component. Close NCM D1 to D3 on time. Compliance with the component DAR matrix. Compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (VW D/TLD Audit). Generate 8Ds/NCMs for nonconforming events and follow up on timely closure of D3. Request and verify Dock Audit Reports. Evaluate AS51 rating for supplier responses in the database. Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements for suppliers at plant level. Provide support for the launch of new components, tooling, and engineering changes / SCR at the plant. Provide support to AMG and AMC for supplier-related issues. Understand and apply the operational controls corresponding to your area in environmental matters. Understand and manage the environmental aspects and impacts related to plant activities. Identify and report risks, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts in the workplace. Detect and participate in actions derived from quality, safety, health, and environmental systems. Ensure and cooperate with compliance of quality, environmental, and safety management system requirements (objectives, policies, legal requirements, etc.). Coordinate containment of nonconforming/suspect material.
•Education Industrial Engineering or related field.
•Previous Experience 1 year as a Quality Engineer.
•Languages English Functional Competencies
•Knowledge of Core Tools (PPAP, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, APQP)
•Proficiency in Excel Problem-solving methodology
