Key Responsibilities

• Performs supplier quality management activities related to products procured by the plant and arrange supplier quality issues
• Conducts supplier evaluations in series production, manages supplier process changes, initiates and coordinates corrective actions to maintain the agreed quality.
• Coordinates the handling of series production complaints and acts as an escalation point to reach agreement on necessary recovery action plans for successful implementation
• Ensure the evaluation and resolution of supplier complaints using problem-solving methods (8D method: from D4 to D8)
• Collaborate on the complaint’s costs evidence (support at costs evidence and their communication to the supplier)
• Conduct on-site supplier audits and other evaluations or visits as necessary
• Supports advanced quality planning with suppliers during the product development process
• Provides training to suppliers to ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP requirements according to the agreement.
• Directs the sampling inspection process and decides on the acceptance or rejection of delivered samples.
• Collaborate with SQC (Supplier Quality Control) in the Run@Rate process during Component Introduction (CI)

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in engineering or other related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in quality control, supplier quality within manufacturing or engineering environments
• English language (min. B2 level - Upper Intermediate)
• Willingness to travel; active driver with a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of business relevant Quality Management Standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100)
• User level knowledge on MS Office and SAP
• Great communication skills
