Job Description

Support the global product development process for new products and ensure that suppliers meet STELLANTIS requirements. Participate with Purchasing and the platform teams on the sourcing strategies and their implementation process, particularly on initial assessment (SEA/NSA– Supplier Eligibility Assessment and QRA- Quality Risk Assessment) ensure that suppliers meet STELLANTIS requirements per PPA (Process Planning and Audit) and Part Approval Process. Support current product quality management activities. Assure proper nonconformity containment tools applications and irreversible corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity.

Grant extensive and deep usage of problem-solving techniques at suppliers (8D, RED-X and 6 Sigma). Verify capability studies to assure process stability and accuracy (e.g. Cp, CPk). Perform Process Planning and Audits (PPA)) and PPAP (Initial Sample inspection report / Part Approval Process). Implement and support global Supplier Quality guidelines. Evaluate new supplier manufacturing processes with major focus on quality and capability impact of process. Review, advice and recommend improvements on supplier manufactured parts: techniques, equipment, fixture, inspection and testing methods and controls, to meet the quality requirements expected during the design review. Provide on-site launch support at suppliers’ facilities to ensure launch readiness as required. Ensure component suppliers’ processes are robust and capable.

Work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure proper designs, suppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected. Assure and validate that suppliers meet the required capacity and rate & flow contracted on the contract by using the CAT tools. Drive change within both plant manufacturing and component suppliers to resolve component issues. Audit the supplier manufacturing process regarding emerging problems or production line transfers. Verify and support product and process failure analysis. Lead problem solving activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing, as well as supplier organizations. Responsible for the top problem resolution with external suppliers, yard hold activities, and supplier improvement processes through the use of Kaizen activity, 8D management systems and 8 Stages of Incoming Material for current issues. Assure containment, root cause, and corrective actions are implemented at the supplier mfg process on time- Monitor quality objectives and provide relevant reports and feedback. Verify correct execution and closure of NBH and TPSL. Develop together with the suppliers and the functional areas the working level agendas to assure all capacity and quality requirements are met accordingly

Qualifications

Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical). Min 8 years of experience in manufacturing assembly process, preferible in electrical/electronics components, plastic molding. Knowledge and experience in problem solving tools (Red X, Shaining, Green Belt). Preferible experience in automotive industry
