Job Description

The Leidos Mission Assurance organization is seeking a talented Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities.

Including but not limited to:

  • Solves initially unclear problems and issues, which may require some analysis to understand and resolve.
  • May be required to use discretion within the SQA’s normal operating procedure(s) and/or work instruction(s) to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the department.
  • Updating and editing of the ASL (Approved Supplier List) and Ivalua databases.
  • Monitoring supplier documentation by issuing, receiving, uploading, and tracking supplier surveys for quality and counterfeit avoidance, as well as certifications and licenses, for all new and existing suppliers on the ASL and Ivalua.
  • Compiling data from the ASL and Ivalua and preparing reports weekly.
  • Providing key supplier statistics to management using Excel or other reporting tools.
  • Responsible for daily interaction with suppliers and frequent communication with team regarding SQA activities.
  • Responsible for monitoring GIDEP (Government-Industry Data Exchange Program) Counterfeit Alerts, researching findings, and reporting potential impacts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications.

Must be able to display competency in communicating, reporting, and tracking business applications (Excel, Power BI, or other database operations, to a medium-high degree (charts, pivot tables, etc.)) and in using systems that track and report data. Willing and ready to offer ideas on continuous improvements to tracking and reporting changes in supplier performance.

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a business discipline (examples: Deltek Costpoint and/or Solumina MES, Accounting, Information Systems, Management, Finance, Marketing, etc.) 2 years acceptable if degreed.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to follow and execute verbal and written instruction.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and be detail oriented.
  • Excellent computer skills - Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe. Ability to develop advanced formulas in Excel, and experience with pivot tables/charts.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
