Leidos is seeking a Supplier Program Manager to support the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) program in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will directly support the All Up Round Magazine (AUR-M) team and provide strategic oversight across planning, budgeting, risk management, and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience managing complex programs across internal teams and external vendors, along with hands-on expertise in contracts, staffing, financial management, and deliverables. This position is primarily onsite (up to 5 days per week) with some telework flexibility.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage large, complex projects

  • Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance

  • Provide proactive, decisive leadership to multidisciplinary teams

  • Make timely project-level decisions and appropriately escalate when needed

  • Develop project management plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), and governance frameworks

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables

  • Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per PMO standards

  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope while managing dependencies

  • Build and maintain work breakdown structures in collaboration with scheduling teams

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, accruals, and financial performance

  • Provide clear, consistent communication through status reports, dashboards, and updates

  • Track project progress, milestones, and overall quality of deliverables

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with 8–12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree)

  • Experience with risk management tools

  • Strong understanding of Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Experience with Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs)

  • Experience supporting large DoD-sponsored programs

  • Proven ability to manage and control budgets using complex reporting tools

  • Experience in engineering program/project management (e.g., reading drawings, requirements development, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, execution, and reporting)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and cryptographic key management solutions

  • PMP certification

  • Master’s degree in a technical or management-related field

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
