Supplier Production & Delivery Manager

Location: Singapore or Malaysia
Work Model: Onsite with flexibility
Travel Requirement: Up to 50% domestic and international travel

  • You are a courageous decision maker who help to remove barriers, overcome resistance and a creative hands-on problems solver with Internal and external stakeholders. You lead and drive towards the quarterly revenue recognition target and customers delivery commitment.

  • You will work directly with Suppliers decision makers and team members; build professional relationships with them and hence if you have some level of technical knowhow of Planning, Enclosures fabrication, Manufacturing and Production Management will be ideal.

  • It requires the ability to think regional and act local for our success as we leverage across APAC regions/countries (not limiting to SEA and China) to drive strong strategy on projects deliverables working alongside with our local Project Managers of the Implementation team.

  • As you work very closely with the Demand and Capacity planning team and Procurement team, you are a master scheduler of the production schedules of respective customers ranging from local to Datacentres hyperscale's and co-loaders, so you watch with eagle eyes and drive schedules attainment in alignment with our Suppliers production schedules that lead us to the Need By Dates (NBD) commitment of our customers.

  • You capture the Supplier performance real time with accuracy against the Production schedule and Demand plan in terms of NBD deliverables and identify and mitigate risks with effective Action plan but you also proactively identifying continuous improvement plan that further strengthen our supplier's delivery.

  • With your Supply Chain Knowledge, you are able to influence, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the PG DBU customers while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.

  • As you lead the process of working with external suppliers, you will require to travel on demand (heavily dependent on suppliers’ performance). You will be expected more than 50% of travel (Domestic ie Singapore and Malaysia and International) to effectively engage with our suppliers at site that will help you drive towards your deliverables.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively drive major project milestones with Suppliers that lead to the Customers delivery commitment as our project managers execute the plan against defined objectives, timelines, and business requirements achieving CMI revenue objectives.

  • Develop strong relationships with supplier leadership teams and key stakeholders to drive accountability, operational alignment, and performance improvements.

  • Collaborate closely with Demand Planning and Capacity Planning teams to align supplier production schedules with customer demand forecasts.

  • Monitor supplier manufacturing capacity, production progress, and schedule attainment to identify potential risks and ensure timely execution.

  • Analyse supplier performance data and operational metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution activities to minimize delivery disruptions and maintain business continuity.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address recurring supplier performance challenges.

  • Lead regular operational performance reviews on NBD achievements with APAC PowerGen Leadership team and external stakeholders at Suppliers site, providing clear communication on progress, expectations, risks, and recovery plans.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supplier capability, operational efficiency, schedule adherence, and delivery performance.

  • Coordinate effectively across regional and local teams to ensure consistent execution of business objectives and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering Manufacturing, or Operations and Projects Management with proven experience in Production master scheduling in Supplier environment will be preferred.
  • Strong analytical, scheduling, and planning capabilities, including management of production schedules, demand forecasts, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing internal and external stakeholders, removing barriers, resolving complex operational issues, and making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier performance, identify delivery risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working across regional operations and collaborating with multicultural teams internally and externally with suppliers
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with flexibility to travel extensively to supplier and customer locations on demand.
