As a Supplier Performance Engineer I you will support supplier performance, quality, and on‑time delivery of materials and components. You will assist with technical follow‑up, issue identification, and documentation review. Your work will help verify quality and technical requirements across Westinghouse projects—from bid and design phases through manufacturing and delivery.
You will also help evaluate new and existing suppliers and collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management to track progress, monitor compliance, and support reliable, compliant supplier deliveries.
You will report to the APx Supply Chain NSSS, SPx Manager and be located at the Cranberry Township, PA office on a hybrid basis. No relocation will be offered for this position.
Supplier Assessment:
Support Technical Evaluations of suppliers for nuclear-grade products
Support supplier development and qualification for new products/process including risk identification and mitigation
Supplier Oversight:
Support creating the Supplier Oversight Plan including witness and hold point strategy, and oversight cost estimates.
Support coordination and execution of Supplier Oversight Witness and Hold Points.
Support documentation/procedures review
Supplier Procurement Execution:
Support regularly scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Team.
Support execution of required Supplier Witness and Hold Points.
Support creation of scorecards and procurement reports.
Assist with supplier corrective actions, including root‑cause analysis, and overseeing Performance Improvement Plans when required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries.
Willingness to travel to other suppliers' facilities up to 20% (typical trips 2–5 days).
Commitment to personal, industrial, and nuclear safety.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
