About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
The Supplier Manager leads supplier engagement and performance management across a defined portfolio of suppliers and sector partners. This role focuses on building strong, accountable relationships, ensuring contractual and service delivery expectations are met, and driving continuous improvement through insight, data, and collaboration. The work directly supports improved outcomes for injured New Zealanders and helps ACC remain an effective, outcomes‑focused organisation.

We’re looking for a skilled Supplier Manager to join our Vocational Services portfolio teamwith a focus on working with Suppliers to support injured kiritaki to achieve timely return to workoutcomes, you’ll lead supplier performance, build strong partnerships, and help deliver better outcomes for Kiwis across Aotearoa.

The appointing salary for this role is $101,287 – $119,161 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.

You will bring:

  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial and analytical capability, with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Confidence managing performance discussions, risk, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Knowledge of ACC’s vocational services would be advantageous
  • A collaborative mindset and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Previous experience in supplier, contract, or provider management within complex environments would be advantageous.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
