Supplier Lead, Commercial Aircraft

Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local – Genova, IT

Individual contributors with a professional specialty or multi-disciplinary skillset acquired through professional development. May direct the work of other lower-level professionals in the context of a project, process, or program. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation, or delivery of projects, processes, or programs using knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education or equivalent work experience.

This job family is responsible for all of the steps involved in getting products from suppliers to customers. Activities include work associated with obtaining goods and services for all types of business processes; finished goods demand inventory planning and production planning & control to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels; movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials; import/export & customs management. Freight forwarding services roles are included in this job family.

Management and Professional track positions in this sub-family are primarily responsible for long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

Technical and Business Operations track positions in this sub-family are primarily responsible for planning, controlling, and implementing processes related to materials and finished goods storage and movement; inventory control; fleet vehicles and traffic management; and general logistics optimization, planning and control. Activities include identifying enhancements to logistics processes, defining optimal transportation routes, and identifying and defining new approaches and systems for inventory management.

Individual contributor that works under moderate supervision. Applies practical knowledge of job and subject area. Has solid knowledge of theories, policies, products, and/or procedures. Knowledge base is expanding through work experiences.

Purpose: Contributes results on larger, moderately complex projects, processes, or programs.

Qualifications/ Experience: Work requires a solid understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles of the discipline. This knowledge is typically acquired through a 4-year university degree and at least 3 years of prior relevant experience.

Problem Solving: Problems and issues faced are general, but typically are not complex. Determining solutions may require the understanding of broader sets of issues and requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

Communications: Communicates with parties within and outside of own department.

Management & Supervision: Works independently with general supervision. Has the authority to interpret or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval and/or has the authority to commit company resources in matters that have significant financial impact.
Pay Transparency & Compensation Information


Job Level / Grade: Level 48 – 6th Level, Metalmeccanico Industria National Collective Agreement (CCNL)


Salary Range (Annual Gross): €48,000 – €52,000
(The salary range is defined in accordance with market benchmarks, internal equity, and individual experience.)
