Job Description

Job Title

Supplier and OMM Performance Manager IGT-S

Are you ready to take ownership of end-to-end material availability and operational performance in a role that directly impacts the lives of people around the world? Join Philips Health Systems as a Supplier and OMM Performance Manager for Image Guided Therapy (IGT), where you will be part of a leading business at the forefront of technological innovation and healthcare. This senior role combines supplier performance leadership with accountability for the overall Operational Material Management (OMM) performance of our operations — offering a clear path towards senior supply chain leadership and broad influence across an expansive internal and external network.

Your Challenge

As a Supplier and OMM Performance Manager, you will steer both supplier performance and the overall operational material management performance across our manufacturing sites in Best, Pune and Suzhou. Building on strong supplier relationship and inventory management, you set the standard for how OMM performs: you define the KPIs and governance, drive structural improvement, and secure material availability at the right cost and inventory level. You represent OMM in cross-functional and management forums and translate operational performance into strategic decisions that keep our supply chain resilient and future-ready.

You are responsible for

  • Overall OMM Performance: Own and drive the overall Operational Material Management performance of operations — material availability, inventory, excess & obsolete (E&O), and cost — translating targets into actionable plans and measurable results across the supplier portfolios.

  • Supplier Performance Leadership: Set the direction for supplier management across the supply chain, ensuring material availability while minimizing inventory and excess & obsolete stock, and elevating the performance of both internal and external suppliers.

  • Performance Management & KPIs: Define, monitor, and govern the OMM KPI framework (availability, on-time delivery, inventory turns, E&O, and cost), driving data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the operation.

  • Governance & Standardization: Establish and maintain standard OMM processes, ways of working, and operating rhythms to ensure consistent, scalable, and repeatable performance across portfolios and sites.

  • Risk & Resilience: Oversee the identification and mitigation of supply risks, impact gaps, and capacity constraints across Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, ensuring robust recovery plans and continuity of supply.

  • Capacity & Logistics Strategy: Direct short-, mid-, and longer-term capacity planning and the logistics flow of materials between suppliers and factories to optimize cost, inventory, and component availability.

  • Structural Improvement: Drive structural, cross-portfolio improvements in supply chain and OMM performance, embedding Lean and digital/analytics capabilities to raise the baseline over time.

  • Stakeholder & Senior Engagement: Act as the primary OMM performance interface with Planning, Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement, with senior management, and with strategic supplier partners.

  • S&OP & Business Reviews: Own the Supply Review and S&OP inputs for the OMM scope, lead monthly performance reviews (MPR) and Business Review Meetings (BRM), and confirm supplier flexibility and capacity at portfolio and operation level.

You are a part of

You will be part of — and a driving force within — the Operational Material Management (OMM) team within Philips Health Systems. You will work closely with Operational Buyers, Supplier Performance Managers, Material Planner, Clear-to-Build Manager and End-Of-Life Analysts, report to the Head of OMM, and collaborate extensively with Procurement Engineers, Supplier Account Managers, factory and planning leadership, and strategic supplier partners. In this role you set the performance agenda for OMM and represent it across the wider organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier performance, or operational material management, including a proven track record of leading performance improvement.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

  • Strong command of OMM / supply chain KPIs, performance management, and data-driven decision-making

  • Market and E2E S&OP process experience for effective translation of requirements into supplier S&OP process and embedding in the right inventory & cost related performance indicators

  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel / analytics tooling; experience with supply chain analytics and digital tooling is preferred.

  • Experience in dynamic, highly technological supply chains is strongly preferred.

  • Lean / continuous improvement experience (Green Belt or higher is a plus).

  • A strategic, self-starting leader with a “make-it-happen” attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a clear focus on outcomes and accountability.
