Location: El Paso, TX, USA

Responsible for leading and guiding the Rework Team(s) to achieve the functional objectives of the department. Provide daily direction and support to ensure Customer, BU and Rework facility requirements are met. Ensure training and developmental needs are identified and met. Interface with internal BU/FG’s on key customer deliverables.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates job expectations and sets priorities.
  • Plans, organizes, supervises associate work schedules, and monitors workflow.
  • Ensure training needs are identified and met to improve skills, competencies and promote associate development.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, methodologies, and continuous improvement to implement best practices.
  • Ensure staffing levels are in line with business requirements for Production volumes and, where applicable, Pre-Production, Prototype, and Past Model (Parts & Service)
  • Set associate objectives and conduct performance reviews
  • Generates weekly/monthly/annual reports, metrics, and key process indicators as required by Management
  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets
  • Resolve customer and internal issues to facilitate the implementation of group objectives and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Assure that Customer and Business Unit specific requirements are met.
  • Perform Audits on standards, tools, and processes linked to key performance indicators.
  • Prepare and maintain updated job descriptions ensuring functions are aligned with processes and procedures.
  • Maintains accurate department records and documentation
  • Assist HR with resolution of compliance, safety, integrity issues and/or Associate concerns within the team
  • Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
  • Supports YNA Corporate, Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety policies and departmental standards and policies
  • Knowledge and application of the following systems:
    • Microsoft Office applications
    • GQRS
    • BEAMS
    • ASL
    • ARE/ARS

REQUIREMENTS

Degree Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in technical or manufacturing field preferred.

Certification Requirements:

None

Previous Experience:

Minimum of 4-5 years as a YNA team lead, or equivalent years external supervisory experience preferably in a rework or manufacturing environment. Engineering or wire harness background preferred.

Office position – primarily sedentary. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
