About the Position

ATS Traffic Edmonton is looking for a Full Time, Permanent Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse, rentals. This position will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory levels, LEAN. Our ideal candidate is highly organized and experienced in the LEAN and 6 Sigma methodology. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate progressive experience in a warehouse environment as well as leadership experience. Computer skills are a must! Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating & organizing the daily duties of all employees working on the shop floor of the rental division.
• Ensuring that inventory equipment levels are adequate & well maintained.
• Ensure that orders are filled accurately and on time.
• Schedule and manage jobs for shop employees throughout the day.
• Ensure that employees understand and maintain a customer service focus.
• Collaborate and maintain working relationships with other departments and branches.
• Continue to develop and update Lean projects.

Qualifications

• Any post secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field is an asset, but not required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience required
• A minimum of 5+ years progressive experience working in a warehouse. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate leadership experience.
• Experience with LEAN and 6 Sigma, previous involvement in process improvement and implementation is an asset.
• Experience in either Traffic Control or Construction industries is an asset
• Works effectively and collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.
• Demonstrates the ability to lead, motivate, and support team members while setting a positive example.
• Maintains a positive, engaged, and proactive approach to their work and team.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with employees, customers, and management.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to address issues effectively and make appropriate decisions
