Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to work at our Logistics Center in Fort Myers, FL. This individual will be responsible for leading the daily activities associated with the Logistics Center; to include activities of inventory levels along with the control and distribution of finished goods. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm EST.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coach, mentor and train warehouse personnel to develop their skills/capabilities

• Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to support customer requirements.

• Coordinate daily workload and resources.

• Ensure accurate and timely management of employee timekeeping and PTO approvals, including monitoring all time clock punches for completeness, making necessary corrections or adjustments, and processing non-holiday (outside of Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years) PTO requests in a timely manner.

• Attend required meetings and training events for continuous professional development

• Ensure processes and procedures are followed for self and team members per training and work instructions and drive updates as required; complete LMS training on time.

• Drive updates of work instructions and pFMEAs.

• Adhere to procedures for quarantine, hold, rework, primary, secondary and overflow locations along with proper labeling and segregation of product.

• Make employment decisions and ensure a harmonious and productive work environment through effective and periodic individual and team meetings

• Conduct annual employee performance and compensation reviews.

• Participate in and encourage participation in team building events.

• Documement coaching and Performance Correction Notices for team member accountability.

• Monitor SAP Warehouse Activity and PowerBI dashboards to ensure teams meet internal and external customer requirements.

• Participate in projects for the warehouse that may involve software upgrades, equipment installations, facility relocations or expansions; support training for new technologies.

• Facilitate communication with outside service providers.

• Identify and escalate process or system issues and/or improvements for resolution and/or projects.

• Facilitate communication and cooperation across the organization to ensure departments and processes collaborate to meet corporate objectives.

• Demonstrate commitment to safety by enforcing compliance of safety policies; reports all safety hazards and/or concerns to Warehouse Operations Manager and/or EH&S representative.

• Conduct accident investigations and complete all documentation requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, and regulations regarding, timekeeping, and employment law.

• Facilitate general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.

Domestic Shipping Operations Supervisor specifics:

  • Collaborate and meet with Packaging Engineering and AMI on packaging and labeling issues.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Demand Planning on Sets and Subcontracts.
  • Ensure ordering and receipt of proper levels of packaging materials – handling units (HUs), Z-fold corrugate, paper fill, HU labels, shipping tape, pack list envelopes, and shipping labels, etc.
  • Ensure picking, packing and shipping are completed daily and accurately for domestic and subcontract orders.
  • Ensure materials are issued timely and accurately to work orders and receipted to inventory.
  • Ensure Packsize, Locus Cobots and EOL systems are functioning at peak performance.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience managing or training personnel OR High school diploma/GED with 4 years of experience managing or training personnel.

• Experience with SAP WM/IM or similar warehouse systems, preferred.

• Experience in inventory control and fulfillment operations, preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Knowledge of logistics, receiving and warehouse procedures, computer and external recordkeeping and logic skills.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Proficient in MS Office tools. Experience in SAP WM, IM, Oracle or other Warehouse system, required.
