Job Description

– Supervisor Tunnel

Position: Supervisor Tunnel
Location: [Project Location]

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 4 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years of relevant experience in construction/supervision of tunnel works in railway line, highway, or other eligible infrastructure projects.

OR

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 7 years of overall experience, including at least 4 years of relevant experience in construction/supervision of tunnel works in railway line, highway, or other eligible infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day tunnel construction activities at site.
  • Monitor execution work as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards during tunnel works.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams for smooth execution.
  • Track project progress and maintain site records/reporting.
  • Identify and resolve site execution issues related to tunneling activities.
  • Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials at site.
  • Assist in inspection and quality control activities for tunnel works.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in tunnel works for railway/highway infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of tunnel construction methods and site supervision practices.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Understanding of construction safety procedures and quality standards.
