Job Description

We’re looking for a Supervisor to join our South Morang crew and help lead, support and coordinate essential vegetation management works. This is a team that backs each other, gets stuck in and makes it happen. The role is predominantly off the tools, with a strong focus on supervision, planning, safety and crew support, but you’ll still be expected to get your gloves dirty and jump in when needed.

You’ll be joining a team that takes pride in doing the job well, looks out for each other on site and knows how to get the job done. What is the role?

As Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to lead and support crews across day-to-day vegetation management works. You’ll be the person helping everyone stay organised, safe and moving in the same direction, while making sure the work is delivered to a high standard. While the role is mainly focused on supervision and coordination, you’ll still be hands-on when the job calls for it.

• Lead and support crews in the field, helping the team stay safe, organised and productive
• Coordinate daily priorities, including schedules, job requirements, equipment and crew movements
• Promote safe work practices through hazard assessments, toolbox meetings and regular check-ins
• Support reporting and communication between crews, operations and the wider team
• Help build a strong crew culture focused on safety, reliability, teamwork and quality work

What we need from you:

• A current Drivers Licence
• Experience in vegetation management, arboriculture, utilities, civil or field-based operations
• Strong safety awareness and the confidence to lead by example
• A practical, team-focused approach with clear communication skills
• Flexibility to travel or work away from home when required

Great, but not essential:

• MR/HR Truck Licence
• Cert III in Arboriculture or Horticulture
• White Card, First Aid/CPR or chainsaw tickets
• Previous experience leading a crew or team
