The House of Commons Parliamentary Precinct Operations is currently looking to staff the Supervisor, Transportation and Fleet Management Services position.
This recruitment and selection process is restricted to the employees working within the Transportation and Fleet Management Division.
The Supervisor, Transportation and Fleet Management Services is primarily responsible for ensuring the effective planning and implementation of a shuttle bus service and a delivery service by truck and cargo van and the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles. Most of the Supervisor’s responsibility relates to managing and maintaining an effective shuttle bus service for Members Parliament and employees of the House of Commons, on and adjacent to the Parliamentary Precinct. The responsibility of the supervisor also relates to managing freight delivery services by truck and cargo van on the Hill and in the National Capital Region. In addition to this, the supervisor oversees the operational administration of the unit and participates in long-term operational planning.
