Supervisor-Transportation

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Patient Transport team in the role of Supervisor- Transportation.

The Transportation Supervisor assists the manager and director in planning, directing, and overseeing the overall operation of the assigned area. This role provides direction and leadership to assigned staff and ensures that all appropriate staff job functions are performed accurately and efficiently. The Transportation Supervisor delivers outstanding service to all customers. The Transportation Supervisor coordinates scheduling and monitors and ensures the completion of normal work tasks for employees across a 24/7 staffing model. This position assists with the transporting of patients to and from the point of service when necessary.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Manager-Business Operations

Shift: Monday-Friday, Occasional Weekends, Evening Shift

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

• High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Requires an intermediate knowledge of computers.
