The City of Toronto's Corporate Real Estate Management division is seeking an experienced and innovative Supervisor Training & Compliance to join the Project Management Office (PMO) team.
Reporting to the Manager, Governance and Controls, and collaborating with PMO stakeholders, the Supervisor Training & Compliance will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of a comprehensive training program for both unionized and non-union staff. This includes supporting onboarding for new and existing employees, facilitating training and alignment for the new PPMS system, and tailoring required training as part of corrective action plans. The role also involves engaging stakeholders to deliver in-person training sessions and workshops.
The Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the rollout of the PPMS system by advising on, coordinating and overseeing training and development initiatives associated with this transformative technology project. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance, learning and eLearning solutions, implementation approaches, program delivery leadership, and analytical support to advance a continuous improvement model.
This position will lead the design and delivery of training to address complex learning needs, including compliance training, leadership development, and staff education. The Supervisor will provide leadership across the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, learning solution design, curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
