Job Description

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000/yr.

Department: Depot-Repair

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Some overtime may be required to fulfill job duties.

We are currently looking for a Supervisor, Technical to join our team on 1st Shift in our Repair Depot.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Supervisor, Distribution, you will:

  • Establish and maintain performance and quality standards for the technical operations group.
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate the efforts of technicians and report failures to Management.
  • Lead the technicians to ensure efficient processes.
  • Coordinate all department activities and interface with inter-department managers.
  • Maintain performance goals related to quality and productivity.
  • Achieve or exceed planned production output.
  • Ensure that team focuses on exceeding customer expectations in all aspects of the Depot operations.
  • Manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Coordinate staff movement and training schedules in order to ensure that the Depot is properly staffed to achieve operational goals.
  • Establish and maintain a regular presence on the Depot floor/assigned departments.
  • Prepare reports according to customer requirements.
  • Motivate employees and create a positive work environment.
  • Regularly meet with leadership team and staff.
  • Coordinate cost savings activities and process improvements within the Depot operations.
  • Identify exceptions to performance standards and take immediate corrective actions.
  • Address employee issues timely and conduct discipline as needed.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and performance management activities.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Manage administrative functions and reports.
  • Effectively disseminate administrative and operational information.
  • Work with Human Resources to ensure compliance to all Company policies.
  • Interview and evaluate candidates for vacant positions.
  • Assists in the identification of processes, systems, equipment, and technologies required to maintain and improve the performance of technical and service operations
  • Support depot operations by performing other duties as assigned by management.

What You Will Bring

Your background and experience should include:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $70,000 and $80,000 per year. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
