Overseeing all staging and loading activities to ensure picked goods received from the picking team are properly controlled, verified, arranged, and loaded accurately and on time for outbound delivery. The role is accountable for maintaining dispatch floor discipline, ensuring physical stock matches invoiced quantities, coordinating closely with the invoicing function, and leading the loading team to support smooth truck loading and timely vehicle departure. This position plays a critical role in ensuring shipment readiness, outbound accuracy, and efficient warehouse execution.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily staging and loading operations to ensure all picked goods transferred to staging are properly received, arranged, verified, and prepared for loading.
• Manage staging floor activities to maintain clear segregation, shipment visibility, orderly arrangement, and safe movement of goods.
• Ensure all staged products are checked against invoices, dispatch documents, and physical quantities before loading.
• Coordinate closely with the invoicing function to ensure all invoices and related dispatch documents are printed, available, and aligned with shipment requirements.
• Review and verify invoice-to-physical matching to prevent loading errors, short shipments, overshipments, and wrong deliveries.
• Monitor staging readiness and ensure goods are arranged according to truck sequence, delivery route, customer priority, or loading plan.
• Lead the loading process and ensure goods are loaded accurately, safely, and efficiently into the correct truck.
• Ensure loading activities follow dispatch priority, route sequence, space optimization, and delivery cut-off requirements.
• Resolve operational issues related to missing stock, staging discrepancies, invoice mismatches, incomplete picking, or loading delays.
• Coordinate with picking, traffic control, transport, invoicing, and warehouse operations teams to ensure smooth outbound flow.
• Monitor loading timelines closely to support on-time truck readiness and departure performance.
• Ensure all staging records, loading confirmations, and operational updates are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain proper housekeeping, safety, and operational discipline across the staging and loading areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve staging efficiency, loading productivity, shipment accuracy, and floor control.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Equivalent hands-on supervisory experience in staging, loading, dispatch, or outbound warehouse operations may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in warehouse outbound operations, staging, loading, or shipment control, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing staging activities, shipment checking, invoice verification, and truck loading in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating dispatch floor operations and ensuring shipment readiness for timely loading and departure.
• Experience in managing physical-to-document matching, shipment accuracy, and outbound operational control.
• Familiarity with high-volume FMCG, retail distribution, consumer goods, or contract logistics operations is preferred.
• Experience in leading loading teams and handling time-sensitive outbound activities.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Sg Jati, Klang.
