
The Supervisor, Staffing will lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of Staffing Representatives and Coordinators while fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth. Oversee METRO’s recruitment and hiring process, identify inefficiencies and implement innovative improvements that elevate the sourcing, screening and selection process as well as the candidate experience. Ensures our hiring strategies align with organizational goals. Assists the Director in the administration of overall employment and staffing programs while ensuring employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Perform duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with applicable rules and safety procedures.
Pay Range: $79,200 - $104,000
High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related degree is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of recruiting experience in a professional, fast-paced environment, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role leading a recruitment team. Proven experience developing and implementing end-to-end recruitment processes, managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and creating documentation to support Recruiting/HR initiatives. Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and present key recruiting metrics and reports. Proven track record of initiating and executing recruitment strategies across a wide range of professional disciplines. Experience in both corporate and agency environments is preferred; experience working within a unionized environment is a plus. Proven leader with the ability to build strong client relationships, establish trust, communicate effectively, train and develop recruiting team, and foster cultural change.
Comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local employment laws to include EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Proficiency with ATS systems, Workday preferred.
SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI PHR/SPHR certification is preferred. Bilingual skills are preferred.
