The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. The Supervisor, Social Worker in collaboration with the Social Work Director for OB/GYN, Pediatrics and Community Outreach is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality social work services in assigned area, ensures that social work services are provided according to professional standards, and in accordance with the policies, procedures and protocols, collaborates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary programs that integrate social work in the departments and represents the Social Work Division on interdisciplinary committees within the assigned areas.
The Supervisor Social Worker provides clinical services to families of patients in the area of assignment and to other patients in the absence of other social work staff. The Supervisor Social Worker serves as a liaison with health and social service agencies in the community.
