Leads security operations and acts as the primary contact when management is absent; bridges the gap between Security Guards and leadership. Key duties include patrolling to deter crime, responding to incidents, securing scenes, and conducting initial investigations. Ensures accurate incident reporting and escalates emergencies immediately.
Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
Required: California Driver License with clean driving record and California Guard Card; must be at least 21 years of age
Required: Two (2) years of Security Guard experience
Preferred: Healthcare Security Guard or law enforcement/military service experience
Reports To: Manager-Security and Emergency Management
Supervises: Security Guards

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected situations, Ability to climb stairs, ramps or ladders occasionally during shift; run as needed, Ability to constantly use of both hands, arms and fingers in reaching/handling/grasping while using radio, phone, notepad, writing reports and other administrative tasks; constant use of eyes (correctible vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with people and view security monitors, Ability to delegate tasks effectively, optimize team productivity and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, Ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner, Ability to occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties, including lifting or carrying up to 80 lbs., Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance, Ability to work independently and as a team member, Ability to work in personal protective equipment (gloves, masks and gowns) while assisting medical staff, Written and verbal communication skills
