Now interviewing for a Supervisor - Recovery Residences

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

The Supervisor of Recovery Residences will be accountable for the day to day implementation of the processes of admission determination and the management of residents who are in the residential continuum of care (Level 4, Level 3, and Level 2). The supervisor will hold orientation of Residents upon admission, establishing and enforcing the social model of recovery, 12 Step recovery programming, residential program phase management, resident redirection, and resident satisfaction. This position will work collaboratively with other interdisciplinary leadership members and direct care staff to assure that residents are achieving intended phase progression timetables and that timely and effective intervention and redirection is initiated with residents needing such intervention. They will also work collaboratively with the Office Coordinator to assure that Office and Residential staff carry out the Residential-related activities in a coordinated, competent manner. The Supervisor will ensure that the site(s) are in compliance with accreditation body standards.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage, oversee, implement, and/or carry out the following activities:
    • New resident orientation and assimilation to facility / site
    • Resident complaints and disciplinary action tracking and management
    • Oversee the effective medication management, including audits of MAT (based on guidance from AIH)
    • Ensure residents model the social model of recovery and uphold a recovery culture
    • Day-to-day management of Resident activities
    • Participate with Clinical Team in staffing residents
    • Program specific residential activities and duties
    • Foster and maintain an active resident alumni network, including periodic communications, gatherings and post-residency follow-up
  • Staff leadership (related to Recovery Coaches, Residential Recovery Associates, CCLSI)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required
  • Lived experience in his/her own 12-Step recovery journey.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with and exposure to residential recovery facility operations
  • Recovery Coach or Community Health Worker certification required
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory and/or team lead experience in a behavioral or healthcare setting highly preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation to transport self and/or others, oversee programming and/or attend trainings and/or meetings
