
Supervisor Rail Facility Maintenance
Under the direction of the Superintendent of
Rail Facility Maintenance, the Supervisor of Rail Facility Maintenance is
directly responsible for the maintenance activities for approximately 10 rail stations,
10-11 parking lots and 12 miles of light rail right of way. This position provides direct supervision for
788 ATU and IBEW employees as well as
contractors in the maintenance and repair of Metro’s facilities and facility
related equipment. This includes the MetroLink Stations (restrooms,
electrical systems, landscaping, mowing, platforms and equipment, Elevators,
Escalators, Tunnel Ventilation and Fire suppression Systems. This position is also responsible for
supporting all construction and capital projects and will provided flaggers to
posted restriction zones. This position may also be assigned direct responsible
for one or more Maintenance/Operating facilities. The Right of Way Maintenance (ROW) team is
focused on maintaining all transit assets in a state of good repair throughout
the asset life; delivering maintenance and capital projects that will improve
the Metro customer experience; supporting transit expansion projects including
light rail; modernizing and expanding Metro’s operation systems; and executing
a succession plan to sustain Metro’s excellent performance well into the
future.
