
The Quality Assurance Supervisor ensures the timely and effective implementation of standard operating procedures, policies, and activities to maintain the quality of manufactured products at the distribution center. They work closely with other department managers and supervisory personnel to uphold product quality, identify and resolve issues, and enhance productivity, safety, and overall efficiency. The QA Supervisor also provides guidance and support for Lean and continuous improvement projects within facility operations, promoting the understanding and application of Lean principles. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and/or Director of Quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Quality Assurance and Standards: Draft, interpret, and implement quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures. Evaluate their adequacy and ensure compliance.
Audits and Documentation: Plan, conduct, and document internal audits of manufactured goods and materials. Evaluate audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, compile, and analyze statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports and quality scorecards to communicate outcomes.
Customer Complaints and Corrective Actions: Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventative actions.
Training and Continuous Improvement: Identify training needs and organize interventions to meet quality standards. Promote ongoing education in Lean principles and a Continuous Learning environment.
Lean and Kaizen Implementation: Provide technical and operational recommendations to meet objectives, product quality, and customer service goals. Support coaching and teaching of Lean principles, implement communication tools, and develop visual controls and signage.
Operational Competence: Demonstrate competence in PC and operating systems. Operate under tight deadlines with multiple priorities. Interface with a multi-shift operation and frequent all areas of offices and warehouse.
Physical Requirements: Regular job attendance, ability to lift up to 100 lbs., frequent walking and standing, and working in a warehouse environment with temperature swings, loud noise, and moving mechanical equipment.

Skills and Qualifications: A positive and pleasant personality, verbal communication, professionalism, sensitivity to confidential matters, organization teamwork.
Certificates and Training: Forklift Training Program must be completed

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $61,800.00 - $82,500.00
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
