Overview

ROLE AT A GLANCE:

The Supervisor, Production Planning will be responsible for managing finished goods order placement and production for assigned suppliers and be accountable for maintaining established safety stock levels. This position will work with CMs in INDIA and collaborate with cross functional groups - Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Global Regulatory affairs, R&D- Tech ops to name a few to ensure appropriate flow of inventory to minimize risk to the company’s supply chain. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining planning parameters, communicating potential supply gaps, providing status updates and helping resolve roadblocks impacting timely production or shipment of SKUs. In addition, this position is responsible for building and enhancing systems, tools, and processes in support of a streamlined product flow that will reduce stock-outs while also focusing on reducing excessive inventory (both finished goods and raw materials) in close coordination with respective stakeholders.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Manage the entire flow of product (financial & physical) from suppliers to receiving MWH locations.
• Conduct supplier calls to secure production updates, review availability of raw materials and components, provide direction when resources are constrained. Ensure supplier is proactively communicating and maintaining PO promise dates when productions are delayed.
• Prepare Monthly production plans for assigned SKUs based on Demand plan. Prepare weekly plan based on product priority. Coordinate with Turnkey supplier to ensure adherence to agreed production schedules. Monitor production attainment and highlight risks impacting supply.
• Coordination with Demand Planning team and Material planning team for PR and PO generation against 6M demand plan. And share the POs with supplier to arrange the RM/PM against the Demand Plan
• Participate in new launch, transitions and maintenance Projects calls, as appropriate, and provide updates to PMs as requested. Schedule Trials for NPD as needed.
• Coordinate required inventory builds with Demand Team, Project Mgr and Marketing team for any events/Promotions.
• Review and analyze monthly Supplier Scorecard reports. Participate with suppliers/CMs on monthly calls to review performance data and collaborate on improvement opportunities.
• Provide suppliers with monthly production forecast data. Notify suppliers of significant demand changes.
• Close coordination with cross functional groups like SC, Sourcing teams by sharing the dispatch planning/scheduling based on material (RM/PM) arrival, planning of dispatch for ASCP (Advanced Supply chain planning).
• Ensure correct input to system (ASCP) in the form of OSP/work orders to align the material supplies by the procurement team.
• Active participation in the pre-calls along with operations team and raise red flags, if any, pertaining to the FG delivery.
• Follow up on pending NCRs and PEs submitted by Quality and assist is resolution, as needed along with Supplier
• Coordinate with AP team for any payment related discussion against the FG Pos.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements, problem resolution, reporting requirements, etc.
• SOP creation and other responsibilities as needed.

• Graduate having experience in production planning.
• Or MBA in Supply Chain Management with relevant experience.
• Certification in production planning and Inventory management systems- APICS
• 5-7 years oin handling production planning/Supply Planning/FG planning.
• Understanding of the various elements of Supply Chain Management (Production Planning and Inventory Control, Demand Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Packaging)
• Having worked on Oracle/SAP or any other relevant ERP systems.
• FMCG, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical industry experience- Reputed organizations, MNCs.

TEAM DYNAMICS:

Ability to interact with multiple departments in a multinational company. Exceptional follow up skills and ability to meet all project deadlines. Understanding of the various elements of Supply Chain Management (Production Planning and Inventory Control, Demand Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Packaging) insight into team dynamics and environment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

Education

• Graduate having experience in production planning.
• Or MBA in Supply Chain Management with relevant experience.
• Certification in production planning and Inventory management systems- APICS

Experience

• 5-7 years oin handling production planning/Supply Planning/FG planning.
• Understanding of the various elements of Supply Chain Management (Production Planning and Inventory Control, Demand Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Packaging)
• Having worked on Oracle/SAP or any other relevant ERP systems.
• FMCG, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical industry experience- Reputed organizations, MNCs.
