Supervisor - Production (SMT & PTH Production Engineer) Company: Cyient DLM Limited Location: Shamshabad, Hyderabad Responsibilities Execute daily production plans and achieve delivery commitments. Monitor production efficiency, utilization, throughput, and production targets. Manage manpower allocation across SMT and PTH lines. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime. Manage SMT operations including Solder Paste Printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Soldering, AOI, and X-Ray Inspection. Monitor process parameters and maintain process stability. Support NPI activities and process validation. Manage PTH assembly, Wave Soldering, Selective Soldering, and Hand Soldering operations. Ensure compliance with IPC standards and quality requirements. Analyze defects, drive CAPA activities, and reduce rework. Participate in customer and internal quality audits. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, and SMED initiatives. Optimize cycle time, line balancing, and productivity. Maintain production records, MIS reports, SOPs, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Coordinate preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting. Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and calibration compliance. Lead operators, technicians, and line leaders. Conduct production meetings and employee training programs. Drive accountability and continuous improvement culture. Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 5+ years of SMT/PTH production experience in an EMS environment. Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Industrial Electronics, or Medical Electronics manufacturing preferred.
