Production Supervisor – Manufacturing | Silgan Closures – Champaign, IL

Silgan Closures, a global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring a Production Supervisor in Champaign, IL, to support and manage employees at our fast-paced manufacturing facility If you have experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing supervisor, or shift supervisor, this is your chance to grow your career with an industry leader.

What You Will Do:

• Supervise and support employees in the production of plastic closures
• Ensure product quality, food safety compliance, and a strong safety culture
• Learn and apply SPC principles, SOPs, and productivity standards
• Manage equipment and production flow to maximize efficiency
• Develop, mentor, and assign work to employees while maintaining labor contract compliance
• Foster a positive workplace and lead with effective communication

What You Need:

• Production Supervisor or manufacturing supervisory experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced production environment
