Must be able to work independently as necessary. In this role the supervisor will lead all aspects of Production on 2nd shift at M+A Matting plant 1. As the supervisor you will lead the team to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals. As opportunities arise, you will develop action plans and implement them. One of the main responsibilities is leading the team. The supervisor will communicate, coach, and resolve conflicts.

Job Requirements

· A passion to win and a sense of urgency

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

· Microsoft Office proficiency

· Hours: 2:30PM-11PM; Monday-Friday (Some Saturday necessity)

The late Emmett Hart established Mountville Mills in 1963 in a small building just outside of LaGrange, Georgia. Hart worked at Callaway Mills for 15 years in the design and development departments before starting his own company with the encouragement of his wife, Nancy.

Emmett and Nancy were among the first seven employees of Mountville Mills. Today, the family-owned business maintains more than 640,000 square-feet in manufacturing plants, and more than 1,000 employees across North America and Europe.

Mountville Mills first expanded by joining forces with The Andersen Company in Dalton, Georgia in 1999. In 2005, Mountville expanded its operations to Ronse, Belgium, where it maintains a manufacturing and sales facility to service the mat needs of its European customers. In 2008, Mountville acquired the North American business unit of Kleen-Tex Industries, Inc. In 2018, the textile rental division of Mountville Mills and The Andersen Company merged to form M+A Matting which serves both U.S. and Canadian customers. Additional members of the Mountville family include Mountville Mills Rubber Company, Logo Mats LLC, Bungalow Flooring, Purple Mustard, Motif, The MatWorks, and Matterly.
